HOME AGAIN...NATUARLLY...
Well I've made it back home once again from my trip into the world of M.
Night Shyamalan and "Lady in the Water". This time around I actually
had a day of filming and it was a blast! I pretty much hung out in a pool all
day and splashed my fellow cast mates with water, although I did have a
oops moment at the pool when I fell getting out of the pool in between
takes (let that be a lesson to all of you...your parents were right NEVER
run around by the pool, your just lookin' for trouble) so me and my gimpy
leg got back on a plane the next day and I must say, first class at night is
a whole different (and better) experience than in the day. I feel like they
treated you extra special. Who knows that could have just been a nicer
crew either way thank you good people of United for taking care of me!
So now I'm back for a couple weeks (I go back to Philly in about a month)
and until then I have one job lined up, but I think it's only a couple days
work so I'm hoping other auditions are looming close by.
I did have another cool thing happen today...I met up with some friends
that I pretty much have not seen since high school. I don't hang out with
anyone from high school which is sad seeing as I remember all those dying
vows of friendship in school that we'd all be together forever...ahh youth.
Anyhoo, I'm minding my own business when I get an email from my high
school friend Veronica Vela (see veronica I told you, you'd be in this!) and
she sets it up so I can meet her and my other past life friend Lori
Westman. I had a blast and I loved going over all the crazy shit we did in
High school and I swear to you there was CRAZY back in those days. I
think there's something so cool about meeting up with people who were
there in the years that are life changing (high school and turning 18) and
even though it feels like a lifetime ago, sitting with them tonight I felt
like I was in high school again with good friends sharing good times. ----
