THE PART THAT ALMOST WAS...

So I'm still trying to figure things out! Where to put what and what pictures
to use...it's almost too much! But it seems I have ALOT of time on my hands
these days. I had been busy for a little while going on alot of auditions and
actually booking some. I got a small part on "Malcolm in the Middle" which was
a BLAST to film. The cast and crew were very friendly and the director was
amazingly sweet. I only hope I can maybe go back and do something else for
them (yah never know!). I also actually booked a pilot only to lose it about a
week later. It was pretty sad because I felt like everything was great and
the way they cast it was so fast, I was in awe. It was for a show called
"Uncommon Sense" it hasn't been picked up yet and I was originally cast as a
snotty Starbucks clerk (what!) that gets picked on by the show's star Larry
Miller (Guffman fame among thousands of other movies) and Peri Gilpin (Roz
from Frasier). Larry Miller is the writer and executive producer along with his
wife Eileen Conn and they were actually so super nice to me along with Mark
Scott (casting director). It just didn't work out (according to the network
execs, picking on a woman didn't look good for larry...or me soooo I was
replaced with what I'm told was a 6ft tall GUY) My agent told me they
apologized alot and Mark Scott even called me to say I had done a GREAT
JOB and if the show gets picked up I will be brought in to audition for another
role...here's keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be called back if it gets
picked up!! (if it does I will need you loyal fans to FLOOD the studios with
letters saying they need my fabulous talent! ) I know I do have to go back to
Palm Springs to finish up shooting for "Phat Girlz" in mid April So until then
I'm waiting for the next audition and finishing up this website. I swear I
really have to give it up to people...I will read another actor's Blog or just
talk to some of my friends and they always seem to be "doing something" I
feel like "what the hell is wrong with me?" Why am I not "going somewhere" or
"doing something" I gotta find a purpose because just sitting here at home
ain't cuttin' it!!
Any suggestions?  ----
