HAPPY ST. PADDY'S DAY!...WELL DAY AFTER

Man I feel like I've been in a damn cave these last couple of days because of
all the work I've been doing trying to get this website ready, but I had time
to get out of the house for a bit and see the world...okay some theatre and a
bar. On Weds I went to see a show called "Material Girls" written by Kirsten
Gronfield (a girl I met while we were auditioning for the same part on
"Uncommon Sense" and we became friends) The show was cool and very funny in
some parts, it was a two person show that she did with her friend Krista (who
co-wrote it) and was about their experience the night before 9th grade. I
also loved the theatre, it was a 40 seat little theatre in the heart of
Hollywood (The Actor's Playpen). I kept thinking, "man this would be a kick ass
place to do a
Diversity Players show"...What's Diversity Players you ask?
Well it's a theatre company that my friend Reggie De Leon started and that
I'm a member of. We've done two shows so far and are working on fund raiser
ideas to get MONEY to make more shows! annnnyhoo...  After the show I went
with her to a bar called "El Carmen" (3rd & Sweetzer). It was cute and tiny!
a total "Hollywood actor's hangout" it was crowded and had pictures of Lucha
Libre Wrestlers on the walls (Mexican wrestlers to those who don't know) I
stayed awhile but the crowded bar was a little too much for me and seeing as
it's not my scene I left. Then on St. Paddy's Day I was awakened at 8am by
my 70yr old (as I'm assuming now) IRISH neighbor BLARING "oh Danny boy"
It then (not gracefully) eased into "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" and pretty
much for the rest of the day I was Serenaded by the Cd of the 3 Irish
Tenors. It wasn't that big a deal though, when I got tired of hearing it I just
turned on my radio and "
Wham Rap" drowned them out in a second!

Happy Patty's Day Me Wee Ones!!
