THE RING BLEW! (OR RING 2)

So last night me and my good friend Jeanine went out to see "the ring 2"
being told it would be SUPER SCARY and we, being MAJOR horror movie fans
decided to go. I like going to see scary movies with Jeanine. She's become
my "scary movie seeing buddy" because like me, if the movie is bad we'll
just laugh and make fun of it (they don't all have to be foreign language
dramas! ya know       ) anyway, the movie (I won't tell you any spoilers) was
FULL of plot holes and just not that scary...I'll admit I wasn't that scared
of the first one either, but this?, hmmm they just aren't making them like
they used to. Me and My sisters (who besides Jeanine, seem to be the only
girls left on the planet who really enjoy a good scary movie!) tend to prefer
the movies made in the 70's (you know the movies where you know the
writer and the crew were smokin' SOMETHIN' when they made that film!)
I think it's fun to be "movie scared" it's a fun diversion from life for an
hour and a half (or maybe even two hours) To me, I feel like the last
REALLY good scary movie I've seen was "THE SIXTH SENSE" that was
great on alot of levels. It had a good plot, it moved fast, and was about
ghosts (which really freak me out!) BUT ...Unless someone steps up
otherwise and tells me of a good scary movie they've seen lately, I'm just
gonna keep searching. At the Ring2 there was what looked like some really
good movies coming up (judging by their trailers that is) the most promising
to me out of the bunch? a new movie by Wes Craven called "RED
EYE"...keep your eyes open for it!
                       --- BOO!

p.s.   Now on the other side of that coin I will say that "SHAUN OF THE
DEAD" (while not scary...not meant to be) is the FUNNIEST horror movie
I've ever seen. I'm actually not a big fan of British humor, but this movie
just cracks me up. Alot of great moments in this film, if your not a horror
fan you need to see this movie. I promise you it's fun and funny.
Quote from Shaun of the dead: [looking through
Shaun's LPs for suitable records to throw at two
approaching zombies]
Ed: Purple Rain.
Shaun: No.
Ed: Sign o' the Times.
Shaun: Definitely not.
Ed: The Batman soundtrack?
Shaun: Throw it.
