THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE NOME (ALASKA...DON'T ASK)...

Well this is exciting, and happy... I'm HOME!! (well at least this week,
I'm heading out to Mexico City after Thanksgiving to finish up filming
on Nacho Libre). When I first came to Oaxaca I spent 2 weeks at the
beautiful "Los Pilares" but when I spent 3 days this last week back in
Oaxaca, let me tell you the place I stayed, while very beautiful and
ritzy was SCARY as hell to stay in. (A little backstory Built in 1576
as the Convent of Santa Catalina de Siena, for nearly 300 years the
corridors were tread by the dainty feet of the religious. They were
ordered to leave during troubled times in 1862 and their former home
converted into offices for municipal bureaucrats until 1972 when
restoration began. ) so you can imagine my nervousness the first night I
stayed there and my TV turned OFF by itself and a pen on my
nightstand kept being "clicked on". Also throw in the fact that
although I was COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED my 2nd day there and
after 12 hours of filming...I managed to get 2 and a half hours sleep
because "something" kept waking me up every 20-35 minutes. Needless
to say I was happy to be getting back on a plane to come home on
Thursday. The filming went well and I can't get over how SUPER
SUPER COOL everyone on that set is. Jack Black is a doll and all the
crew and production people were very kind to me. I'm having fun and I
only hope I keep doing a good job for them.  So that's what's going on
with my filming stuff...I also did a gift show this weekend with my
chocolates. I had set up shop with my sister Gaby and her clothing line
"
JimenezStudio" at the Fashion Coop in Culver City. It was cool to
actually be selling my line
Pretty Sweet and people really took to it. I
got allot of people who wanted to meet with me and plan for different
kinds of parties and weddings. I'm going to take it as it comes and
hopefully I'll be able to get this business off the ground and not have
to worry if I don't have allot of auditions coming up. Okay kids, I'm
sleepy and I have to start planning for Turkey day so Gobble, Gobble!
