I'M HOME!, I'M HOME!...AND I'M OFF AGAIN!...

Hmm well now that I have a second to breathe (and don't be fooled I'm
talking A SECOND!) I'm writing to update what's going on. I had been in
Philadelphia since Oct 2nd and just got home on Sunday. I ended up
sleeping half the day away and trying to recoup, but now I'm heading down
south to Oaxaca, Mexico on Thursday to begin shooting a new movie called
"Nacho Libre". It sounds like it's going to be a very fun film. I'm just
crazed at how much I've been running around. The last days of filming for
Lady in the water was great!  We had a blast filming and the whole cast
and crew were amazing and so nice! I also got to stay for the wrap party.
It was held at this nice resturant in downtown Philly called "Patou" and
Basically I got to hang out, dance to some groovy music, and say goodbye
to some very cool people. Even though I was ready to go home (I missed
my cat!) it was hard saying goodbye. This felt alot like being in theatre
again...I mean staying there 3 weeks you can't help but start to get close
to your fellow actors. But I hear some rumors we might go back for some
more filming so who knows...I might see my friends again sooner that I
thought!. As for Mexico, this is all new to me and I'm a little scared.
It's always scary starting a new project, with new people, a new place.
Man, I feel like I'm in high school again! I've also been trying to get my
chocolate business off the ground, but I'm a little on the busy side (NOT
COMPLAINING IN THE LEAST!) So I'm trying to choose when to get
things done. I might be doing something called a "fashion co-op" which is a
sample sale for up and coming designers and if I can I really want to be
apart of it. I know once these movies die down, I'll have free time in
December so I should be able to go full force then. I find it extremely
weird that I will NOT be doing La Posada this year at South Coast (for
those who know me, I've been doing this show every nov/dec since 2000)
it's a tradition I know I'm going to miss. I was actually looking foward to
it this year because I hadn't done much theatre, but I'm most certainly
going to go support my friends in the cast and see it when it opens (which
I believe is Dec 10th) alright friends, it's time to go to sleep. I have to
pack in the morning. Happy Halloween and I'll be sure to update on Nacho
Libre when I get back (maybe if your good, I'll bring pictures!)
