CLEAN HOUSE, CLEAN MIND, NEW BUSINESS...
Welp with the little downtime I had the last couple days I cleaned my
house (a chore that was ENTIRELY overdue!!) I swear I would come into
my bedroom and just look at all the boxes and books, papers, clothes just
crap in general that I hadn't touched and was just SITTING there
forever and I thought I need to just throw everything away and start
anew. I'm a major pack rat, but I'm trying to break myself of it. I can
have twelve candles that I've never lit because I think "they're too
pretty" but now, I've started lighting them cuz that's what they're
THERE FOR!! So anyhoo along with the major overhaul of my apt, I've
gone to Ikea for a couple things (or the Devil's playground as I like to call
it! It's like an adult's Disneyland) I can say to myself "you need a table
and a bath mat...$30 bucks. There. Done." and walk out bewildered $145
dollars later going "what the hell just happened?" and "what am I doing
with a bath caddy?" but it's okay and the improvements did benefit my
apt.
I'm also very excited because I'm starting a new business venture...NO,
I'm not giving up acting, but I am giving up worrying what happens between
jobs. I've decided that my love of making gifts for people and chocolate
(which is always popular) will be blended together to start my new
business " PRETTY SWEET© " I'm hoping maybe by putting them in gift
shows and such I can have a little business to keep me going when the
jobs are few and far between. Speaking of which, I've been lucky enough
to get me another little gig. I just booked a part on the tv show "Half &
Half" it's on upn and I'm taping next week, so i'm not sure when it's
gonna air. It's funny because when I came home from Philly in mid august
I didn't have one dang audition! I was starting to worry because I was
auditioning like crazy before I left, but then I got a call yesterday for
this audition, so I went and I got a call from my agent that I got the
part before I even got back in my car to go HOME! (granted the CBS
radford studio lot is big, but COME ON)! so by and by I'm very happy and
grateful right now to be working and busy. There's been ALOT of days
where I haven't been so I'm very thankful for now!.
