NEW ENTRY!
OLD JOBS, NEW JOBS, RED DOG, BLUE DOG...

Welp here it is already April and I'm sitting here wondering what
happened to a quarter of my year! I swear I feel like every year just
goes by faster and faster. I've been puttering around my apt mostly,
watching a TON of TV, going on some auditions, booking some parts, and
finishing up reading The DaVinci Code (the sad thing...I've been reading
it for the last month and a half...the REAL sad thing...it has nothing to
do with the book, I'm just sad and TIVO has made me it's bitch!)
Really though, I do like the DaVinci code. It's very interesting and
when I do get around to reading it, I find I can't put it down.
I also said I've been auditioning and that's been okay. I feel for some
reason things are slower, or not panning out as much. Now I can't be a
total jerk and say it's not happening at all, because I was able to get
some jobs and that's more than ALOT of other people can say...so for
that I'm VERY happy and blessed. One job you already know about is
Pepper Dennis (my episode is airing soon...in a couple weeks) and another
was this film that I auditioned for a year and a half ago. That last one
threw me because when I auditioned the first time it was for a
different casting company and I never got a callback (insert sad face
here) but then I got a call about 2-3 weeks ago, I auditioned, got a
callback, told every friend I had how badly I thought I did on my
audition and how much I suck!, and then found out a couple days ago I
got the part (sorry people I complained to...yes I am a TOOL!) in the
upcoming Movie called
"THE DEAD GIRL" I was excited when I found
out because the cast looks really good and I didn't know that much when
I auditioned.
I did have something funny happen to me though while I was auditioning
recently (I say funny, because I would no WAY let this get to me) but I
was sitting, waiting to audition and this woman who was auditioning for
the same role (keep this in mind...it's important later) asks me "don't
you think this part is a little offensive?" and I looked her straight in
the eye and without flinching said "nope, it's a role ...It is what it is
and I actually don't find anything wrong with it" (and let me tell you all
right now I am the FIRST ONE OUT THE DOOR if I thought the
material I was auditioning for was offensive to me or would make me
look bad) so I smile at her as I give her that answer and she says right
back "well I find it offensive!" and then one minute later her name is
called and she goes into audition FOR THE SAME PART!! What I wanted
to scream at her was "WHY ARE YOU AUDITIONING THEN, IF IT'S
SO OFFENSIVE?" but I let it go because two seconds after I think
that, I'm realizing I've been a victim of a psyche out hit & run. It was
just a blatant attempt to rattle me so I wouldn't do well...well honey,
it's gonna take ALOT more than that to upset me!!!!

Be good to each other...life's too short
