PAGING ALL CHIPMUNKS!!...
Well how's this for a fun weekend...on Thursday I had ALL OF MY
WISDOM TEETH pulled. I had known for a couple months this had to be
done soon seeing as my two bottom teeth were starting to "come in" and
to make things worse, all but one were impacted (meaning inside bone
which they had to CUT thru to get the teeth out) I could've just had the
bottom two out but my dentist put it this way "WHY WOULD YOU WANT
TO DO THIS TWICE!"...good point. The way I (and my dentist see it)
I'm getting older and the older you wait to remove wisdom teeth, the
harder it is to recover from it (usually people have their teeth taken out
between 18-28) It's funny because I was "put out" and when I woke up I
was laughing and asking the nurses about "american idol" and asking them
why they were talking about it. They said "honey, no one was talking
about american idol" then i started crying for NO REASON then laughing
again...I swear Anesthetic is soooo weird!!. So now I'm making my joyous
recovery and looking like a basketball face with ears !! It's not AS bad as
I thought it could be, but at the same time it still hurts. I'm thankful
right now to be heavily medicated and watching "so you think you can
dance" (really, alot of shows look better while under sedation)
I also have some cool news...it looks like I'm going to the premiere of
Nacho Libre on Monday. I'm very excited and it should be fun to walk to
red carpet to see a movie I was in! My sister Monica is going with me as
my "sign of support" she's super excited about going and I know we'll have
a good time. I'm also actually having a publicity agent with me as well
(crazy huh?) her name's Lynn and she's a friend of mine who happens to
work for the firm of JDS and Associates. I hired them and she's gonna
help me walk the red carpet and talk to people (instead of me probably
running down the red carpet and into the theatre...I tend to be a little
people shy) This is gonna be way weird for me. I'm not sure how much I
want to see myself, I'm happy but nervous at the same time (I just want
to do a good job) I just hope I don't still look all "baby doll cracked up
and swollen" next week...how sad would that be.
Happy Teeth!!
