BABY'S FIRST CHARITY EVENT !...

So last night I went to my first ever charity event as a CELEBRITY
(yikes!) it was for "Molly Sims 4th Annual Night With The Friends of El
Faro". About the Charity... “Casa Hogar Sion” orphanage is where
children, who have been abandoned or abused or neglected, have found a
home, a place where they are safe and cared for, nourished and loved.
TheFriends of El Faro do what they can to take care of the children, and
Mama Carmen and Papa Jorge and the staff are remarkable people who
have created a home for children who did not have one.
It was held at the Music Box Theatre in Hollywood and was hosted by
Molly Sims (of Las Vegas), Sheryl Crow, and Jennifer Aniston (although I
didn't see her there). I did run into Tommy Lee, and Ben Stiller (said a
quick hello) and if it didn't get better than THAT...I saw the "el pollo
loco" guy as well (although, I think when you see the el pollo loco guy it's
the 6th sign of the Apocalypse) Anyhoo, I did something that was a first
for me...I WENT ALONE to this thing. My friends Crissy & Dave were
sick and my other friend Benito was a PUSS and wimped out on me at the
last minute. So I decided if I'm gonna do this, then I gotta do it alone.
It wasn't that bad. When I first got there I went thru their press line
(took some pictures). I walked around and tried some of the yummy food
they were serving, looked at the extensive photo gallery they had
(beautiful pictures of landscape and the children of El Faro), listened to
some GREAT MUSIC!! , and bid on a couple of things at the silent auction
(I was outbid...wah,wah,waaaaaaahhhhhh) I also gave a little bit of
scratch to the raffle they were having (again not a winner, but the money
went to a good cause) and how's this for blowing my mind! I also got
recognized for being in Nacho Libre, it was crazy!! The people were very
nice and told me how well I did and how much they liked the movie. It was
fun and overall I had a good time and supported a worthy cause.
