LOUSY S'MARCH WEATHER...
March 14th, 2006

I ain't gonna lie to you good folks...it's F*&KIN COLD!! THIS
WEEK!...And last week. I mean it feels like the east coast up in here.
I'm doubling up on the blankets and hoping my cat will let me use him as
a third. I also find it kinda quiet on the auditioning front. Aside from an
audition I have on Weds, it's a bit too quiet for my tastes. I always
get nervous that my time has run out, that someone has figured out
they have let me work "too much" and that's all folks! It's a hopeless
paranoia that I can't help but have while cooped up in my apt on a
blustery day.
I did manage to do something proactive today...I emailed this jewelry
designer that I bought some earrings from last year. Seems while I was
haggling my ASS off in Oaxaca, Mexico with street vendors trying to
get the best bargains on rings, and earrings (YES I DID FILMING
TOO!) I managed to leave behind one earring on the vendor's table. I
was SOOOOOOO bummed when I figured it out because they were my
favorite pair (I mean they went with EVERYTHING!) so I took pictures
of my remaining earring and sent it off to the lady who makes them in a
hopeful attempt to get another pair.

I also tried to see my trailer for Nacho Libre so I went to the theatre
a couple weeks ago and had to ENDURE "Date Movie" and I do mean
ENDURED!...MAN! If ever there was a need for "straight to video".
Anyhoo, I ended up not getting to see my trailer because it just
happened to not be attached to that film, that day. It sucks cuz I'm
just excited about it and really want to see it up on the big screen. Oh
and I got to do some very cool stuff last week. It's ADR work on a
movie I did in September called "Accepted" (opens in August...little plug)
ADR work for those who don't know is Audio Digital Recording. I got to
go onto the Warner Bros lot and into this recording studio that had a
big movie screen in it. I then got to see my scene and re-record some
lines for it (I had to do the movie and "TV" version) I loved it because
it was the first time I've even been in a professional studio like that
and although I was SCARED! I'd do a bad job, it went off without a
hitch. The sound engineeres were SUPER NICE and kept telling me I
was a natural. So a quiet week, but fun at the same time...now if I can
just find that DAMN EARRING!! or get a new one

               peace out y'all --
