I SAY IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY!!...

I had a really nice birthday weekend this year. Usually we try to do
something really "EXCITING AND SPECIAL" and it usually ends in tears
and fights. This year I said I just wanted to take it easy, hang out
with friends on different nights (kinda dragging out my b-day in a good
way            ) and really enjoy this time and it WAS a nice birthday.
My            sisters and I actually found this super cute restaurant
called "The Birdcage" (click on link for website) close to our apartments
and let me tell you this place is OFF THE HOOK crazy good!! We had a
great time and promised the owners we would talk this place up!
(they've only been open 5 months and already won an award from "city
search" and Channel 7) oh and do yourself a favor and order the
CHICKEN RIVA if you go (it'll change your life!) I also went to this
craft fair with my sister Gaby called "The Felt Club" it was so cute.
People had all these booth set up with lots of "crafty" stuff ( like
crotched hats and purses, hand painted necklaces and earrings, dolls,
clothes) all kinds of stuff. My sister bought me the COOLEST hand
painted necklace from this girl called "TsaiFi". I asked her if she did
any paintings (cuz her artwork was so cool, everything on her site is
made by her) and she said she was thinking about it since so many
people have asked...so I may be holding on to a piece of history if she
catches on...which I KNOW she will!!. Anyhoo on Monday night I had my
movie night with Jeanine (my Siskell). It was cool cuz I finally got to
see my trailer for "Nacho Libre" (opening June 16th...little plug there)
and I also got to see the new full length trailer for "Lady in the
Water" (opening July 21st...another little plug) and we went and saw
the smash hit comedy "An American Haunting" oh I could say that this
was as bad as a lifetime movie...but then I'd be insulting a lifetime
movie. They got the story of the Bell Witch ALL WRONG!! And turned
it into this very stupid plot that just made NO SENSE WHAT SO
EVER!! You know Jeanine & I always see the craptastic movies...so you
don't have to!
