WOW TIME CAN GET AWAY FROM YOU...

So crazy huh? Now that I've started writing again, it's almost
the END of 2007! I can't believe how much time I've let past. I
officially think that MYSPACE should be labeled an addiction,
seeing as I spend SO MUCH time there. Anyway, it's been a
pretty good year and I've been working pretty steady (although
with the writer's strike and all now, not sure what 2008 is gonna
bring) I stand by them and hope that they can all come to a fair
understanding and settlement to it all. I've been working. For
the last couple months I've been involved with a Theatre company
here in L.A. Called the PLAYWRIGHT'S ARENA. I'm doing a
show there called "HERO" it's written by Luis Alfaro and is a
dark comedy surrounding the Iraq war. It's gotten good reviews
(picked by Los Angeles times and backstage west) so I'm pretty
happy about that. But it is closing this Sunday...so a little sad
about that. I REALLY missed theatre. I realized when I started
rehearsals for this show, that I hadn't done an actual production
of a show in 2-3 years! I mean I had done readings, but that's
not the same and it felt SO GOOD to be fully performing again.
I miss that. TV and film can be so cold and you don't really get
a chance to get into a character (unless you have a REALLY good
part) I don't know, I just think that theatre will always be for
me first. I did though get to do some fun work on this last movie
I did called PLAYBOYS. It was written and starring to of the
guys from THE WHITEST KIDS YOU KNOW (Trevor Moore &
Zach Cregger) they were super, super nice and it was alot of fun
to be apart of. I did some other TV work too, but overall it was
mostly auditioning and auditioning...and worrying about rent...and
auditioning. Now it's coming down to closing weekend for my show
and it's going to be quiet again, for awhile...Here's to 2008 and
new possibilities!!
